Our Senior Adult group is very active and outgoing. We have a ministry that focuses on fellowshipping together and on ministering to our world together. Above all, we want to meet the needs of Senior Adults and help them have healthy and productive lives.
Senior Adult Choir
Every Tuesday afternoon, our Senior Adults get together for choir. This choir is called Joyful Singers and regularly sings during our worship on Sunday mornings. This choir also develops and presents its own concerts throughout the year.
Senior Adult Fellowship
We are currently having about one Senior Adult Fellowship a month. During this time, we deal with pertinent issues facing Seniors today, inspirational speakers, health issues, and many other topics. On occasion, we also just get together and have a good old-fashioned time of fellowship in which we visit together and play games with one another.
Senior Trips
We also like to fellowship with one another by going on Senior Trips. Our Trip agendas range from a few hours in and around Atlanta to day trips to North Carolina, to multi-day trips across the nation. We welcome any and all who want to come on these trips. As always, we are currently planning some for the coming year. We would love to have you join us.
Shut-in Visitation
We have a Shut-in ministry in which a group of our Senior Adults visit those who are not able to get out and come to church. This group has a list that they try to visit every month. They also give the Shut-ins magazines and devotion books so that they can stay spiritually connected to our Church and to Christ.
